Delete your data — Kumula
You can remove your data from Kumula yourself in the steps below. For everything at once, email us.
1. Remove a source
In Kumula, open Your sources, open the source and choose Remove. Kumula stops using that account and your AI assistant no longer has access to it. The data already stored for it is kept for 30 days and is then due for deletion.
2. Remove your AI assistant's access
In Kumula, open Settings, then Connected apps, and choose Remove access next to the assistant (for example Claude or ChatGPT). It can no longer ask Kumula for your data.
3. Take back the permission at Google, Facebook or Plausible
Removing a source in Kumula does not cancel the permission you gave at the platform. To do that yourself:
- Google: open your Google Account permissions and remove Kumula.
- Facebook and Instagram: in Facebook, open Settings, then Apps and websites, and remove Kumula.
- Plausible: delete the API key you gave Kumula in your Plausible settings.
4. Delete your account and all your data
Kumula has no delete-account button yet. Email hello@getkumula.com from the email address of your account and ask us to delete it. We delete your account and the data stored for your workspace within 30 days. The same address is for a person who filled in a Facebook lead form of one of our customers and wants those details removed.
Copies that already sit in your AI assistant, your spreadsheets and your exports are yours to delete; we cannot reach them.
